Presenter Shirly Karvinen and her common-law partner, singer Sanni Kurkisuo, offer a new family to a homeless dog when A home for a dog – series returns to the program in episodes of the third season.
The one-year-old dog is a little Biewerterrier Luci. Despite the name, it is male, as the nickname is short for Lucifer. Shirly and Sanni’s central home in Helsinki already has a 7-year-old Yorkshire terrier Pena, who is now looking for a companion.
– Sometimes there are moments when neither I nor my partner are enough for Pena. That too needs its own guy who speaks the same language, Shirly explains on TV.
