Ice-T and colleagues are coming to Germany for two concerts in 2024.
Body Count feat. Ice-T are back – and will present their eighth album MERCILESS live in Hamburg and Berlin at the beginning of June 2024.
With Body Count in 1992, Ice-T indulged his passion for rock, and the debut album BODY COUNT was considered crucial for nu-metal and rap-metal. The band’s most recent work CARNIVORE was released in 2020, and they also received their first Grammy award for the song “Bum Rush”. Now the successor to CARNIVORE has been announced with the title MERCILESS, which is scheduled to appear next spring. On June 7th and 11th the band will come to Germany for two concerts in Hamburg and Berlin.
The debut BODY COUNT reached the top 20 in the USA, top 30 in many other countries around the world, and sold well over half a million copies. The song “Copkiller” was even indexed because it trivialized violence against police officers.

We last reported on Ice-T
Jake Paul, Ice-T and Gene Simmons support Mike Tyson. A video had previously emerged showing the former boxing world champion beating up a passenger who appeared to be insulting him. The ex-champ turned to fellow passenger – and seated behind him – Melvin Townsend and punched him in the face.
After the incident, some celebrities defended Tyson’s behavior on their X accounts. Professional boxer and influencer Jake Paul: “If you get insulted in public like Mike Tyson did, you should legally get a pass to kick someone’s ass.” About the troll passenger he says: “This generation thinks that they can get away with anything.”
Gene Simmons and Ice-T feel the same way
Gene Simmons echoed Paul’s sentiments, tweeting, “Agreed!” Ice-T also shared his thoughts on the topic. He called Townsend a clown who had forgotten that he wasn’t sitting behind his keyboard – so apparently he felt too safe, but in the harsh reality he had now received the reward for disrespectful behavior.
In another tweet, the rapper and actor said that he himself would be in a much worse situation if his online critics dared to harass him in person: “If idiots said the kind of shit they told me here.” Saying it face to face… I know I would be in prison.”
Tyson attacked a bullying passenger
On April 22nd, the celebrity portal “TMZ” published a cell phone video showing Mike Tyson hitting Melvin Townsend, who was sitting behind him. The fellow passenger had previously repeatedly irritated Tyson. Tyson ignored the man’s provocations for some time until he finally snapped. According to TMZ, Townsend hired a lawyer after the incident. The lawyer qualified his client’s behavior as that of an excited fan. Tyson’s representatives said Townsend behaved aggressively toward the boxer. In addition, Townsend not only verbally harassed him, but also threw a water bottle at him.
