In addition to Konrad Laimer and Dayot Upamecano, the next professional appears to be missing from the upcoming league game. Bayern’s personnel shortage is increasing.
FC Bayern apparently has to cope with the next piece of shocking news: Joshua Kimmich, coach Thomas Tuchel, will also be missing from the away game against FC Augsburg on Saturday. This is reported by the TV channel Sky. In addition to the national player, the German record champions will have to do without Dayot Upamecano (torn muscle fiber in his thigh) and Konrad Laimer (torn muscle fiber in his calf).
All three professionals were injured in the catch-up game against 1. FC Union Berlin on Wednesday evening in the Allianz Arena (1-0). While Laimer and Upamecano had to be replaced before the final whistle, Kimmich was able to finish the game. But he had previously fallen on his shoulder. It is still unclear whether he will have to miss any further games due to injury.
Coach Tuchel’s defense continues to shrink. In addition to the injured Kimmich, Laimer and Upamecano, Min-jae Kim, who is currently taking part in the Asian Cup, and Noussair Mazraoui in the Africa Cup are also missing. Bouna Sarr is also injured and will be out until the end of the season with a torn cruciate ligament.
