Nice phrase and yet, how many times do we let others determine our value? And not only professionally but sometimes also personally. Has someone very close to you, perhaps even from your family, said: “Stop trying, that is for others, you will never achieve it”? And so, now you neither sing, nor write, nor dance, nor did you continue with mathematics or gave up being an archaeologist or…
They love us, and yet they label us. And there are labels that empower, but there are others that deform us because it is almost as if they force us to go through a tube that narrows us or is too big or… We simply only buy them so we can fit in. Fit into the expectations of those who say they love us.
How many hours of therapy would you have saved simply if you allowed yourself to make your dreams come true, imagine living without anyone to burst your bubble, having the support to learn what you needed to achieve those dreams and leaning on others if you fell. What would it be like to grow up with people who taught you to trust yourself, and thus become the creator of your world!… Let’s not blame them either, no one knew how to teach them how to do it, and it was more comfortable repeating what was known than challenging what was new.
I believe there is a special race, made up of those of us called “entrepreneurs”. We are those who are willing to jump off the couch, to reveal ourselves, those who live each creation process connected with our talents, who dare to look within and from there, build our value proposition that we know will be unique, because we are all unique and We put our mark on it.
Carrying out a business is an artisanal process, which beyond a methodology to find your market niche, your elevator pitch and other technicalities, it will be successful if we invest in ourselves, in raising our consciousness to prevent our limiting beliefs from holding us back, so that what others say (even experts) never directs our project, and so that success comes to contribute our seed to add value, creating a better world.
The thing is that far from having read it in a book, we experienced it firsthand. That is why we feel confident in speaking from the authority that gives us the experience of entrepreneurs, of having undertaken and failed. And do it several times… We learned that a fundamental factor is “from where we do” and when we started “motivated” by obligation, as a means to survive, because it was the only possibility we saw, the only thing we did was survive. When we manage to change our chip, the “From where”, By revising and modifying our story, and we contacted an authentic motivation, which came from our pure essence, the results we created were abysmally different.
Getting out of survival mode means taking courage and looking at ourselves with great humility and love. It is sometimes, right there, on that path inward that we discover that we have gotten lost in the labyrinth of “ought” (“I should” from doing, “I should” from getting, “I should” from feeling, “I should” from having said, …) and in the desire to meet the expectations of everyone else, even the market, we end up moving away from the raw material, from the heart of the entrepreneurship that is ourselves.
What would it be like to peel away, like layers of onions, parts of what we are not even?
We are experiencing one of the greatest moments of change in the history of humanity, which invites us to let go of the ego, attachments and everything that gives us an uncomfortable security, but security, after all. And that is precisely why we continue to cling, clinging to projects that stopped making sense, to partners who have other priorities or to clients who abuse us. And know? That only ensures continuing on the “mouse wheel” where disappointment, stress, frustration, pain and the feeling of failure govern us.
Because in the process of fitting in, we become tense, juggling time, tasks, relationships, juggling of all types and forms.
And where is it left to enjoy life, enjoy the project we choose?
It can also be a great moment to become aware of whether, instead of choosing him, he was the one who chose us. We get carried away, but we really feel that it is the other way around. It’s time to stop and listen to each other.
I invite you to listen to your body, give it priority because it has many of the answers you are looking for. If you feel in a moment of doubt, where it seems that all paths cross and fork… keep in mind that as it is inside, so it is outside… and that it is your own confusion projected in your results, what you are observing. It may be uncomfortable to hear this… but that’s how the brain works. It is a universal law and is called correspondence. By clarifying your inner world, everything that is outside falls into place. If you don’t know how to do it, ask for help. With another it is always easier and faster.
Reminder: Our personal power is in our connection with our inner wisdom, with the divinity that we all carry within.
Do you dare to listen to yourself?
