Niko Saarinen, the radio host of 2023, angered many with his words on the morning broadcast.
Many radio listeners were shocked Niko Saarinen from words on NRJ’s morning program today, January 10.
Saarinen’s host couple on the air Julianna Jokela reported a study that recommends women change their underwear twice a day. Men, on the other hand, wouldn’t need to change their breeches every day if they don’t sweat.
– On the other hand, I understand that. Women sweat more there and there is a strong smell, Saarinen stated on the broadcast.

According to Saarinen, he has accidentally smelled the lower head odor of his female friend a few times when she has come out of the toilet. According to Saarinen, this has not happened with men.
– You can smell it, even though I haven’t gone to smell it in any way. It smells in the room air, he said of his observations.
Jokela was confused by the words of his co-host, so Saarinen tried to convince him of the reality of his experiences.
– It’s a fact, not a joke. Olen useamman kerran haistanut ystävättärieni pillun hajun. I would recommend for them to change their panties more than twice a day.

During the broadcast, Saarinen thought that women’s bottoms might smell more because of menstruation, for example. Saarinen’s speeches have received a furious response, especially in the chat application Jodel.
– Shocking to listen to Niko Saarinen’s NRJ morning today. We just talk about how women’s bottoms smell, and that we should use detergents.
– Hi Niko.
– It’s exciting when, according to my own experience, it’s specifically men’s areas that smell.
– That’s why I don’t listen to NRJ – the level is just something this stupid.
– Now Niko’s points were counted like a cow’s tail.
– It’s that thing again, don’t talk about things you don’t know anything about, because you just sound stupid.

Iltalehti caught up with Saarinen, who says that they discussed what happened at the workplace immediately after the broadcast. Saarinen says that his speeches did not become a message.
– I was talking about a distant friend of mine, whose lower end has sometimes smelled. So it’s not a generalization that every woman’s lower end smells, the presenter states.
– I don’t have any experience with it, since I’ve never, for example, lived with a woman in a relationship. So I don’t have any examples other than this, and I could throw it again, he adds.
Saarinen reminds us that they are not experts, but radio workers. According to Saarinen, their task is simply to take a stand on current issues.
– As a radio host, I can’t remain speechless. I don’t know if it would be good radio if I said: “I have nothing to say about this”.
So are you going to be careful about what you say and apologize in the future?
– We can’t think too much about what we say when we make a radio broadcast that is supposed to be provocative in a certain way. People get upset about everything. If I were to make a radio spike that wouldn’t cause anyone any feelings, I probably wouldn’t even be able to go to work tomorrow.
– I think it’s stupid that we should apologize afterwards for individual spikes, if they haven’t really offended people on a general level, so to speak, Saarinen concludes.
