Gordon has made his comeback eight months after the height of the toyboy riot. He appeared on television yesterday afternoon with a new haircut. “This is just Bob de Rooij!”

We missed him for a while, but now he’s back: Gordon. He was in the annual MAX Christmas concert yesterday afternoon, on January 7 we see him complaining about character assassination in Casa di Beau and on January 20 he will look for family members with whom he has not yet argued in the TV classic Verborgen Verleden.

Glitter and Gordon

How did Gordon’s TV comeback go? Well, pretty fine. He sang a nice Christmas song – It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year – and didn’t have to say or do anything else.

Carrie ten Napel neatly announced him: “Someone who also loves Christmas is Gordon, especially Christmas as Americans celebrate it. Grand with lots of glitter and of course music.”

Her co-host and boss Jan Slagter: “Yes, he is probably the most talked about man in Dutch showbiz, but he prefers to sing beautiful songs during Christmas.”

Bob de Rooij

What do people think of Gordon’s comeback? Since that concert was on TV in the afternoon and MAX has a relatively large number of viewers who are digitally ill, there is not much to find about it. But his new haircut is causing some commotion. Almost everyone in the comment field MAX Insta draws a comparison with Bob de Rooij, a character of Paul de Leeuw.

One Rob says: “Bob and Annie’s son?”

Bianca: “😂😂😂 He looks similar.”

And Mandy: “😂 thought the same.”

‘He’s back!’

Aart draws the same comparison. “Bob de Rooij is back.”

Kiki: “😂😂 but exactly 🤢.”

Helga: “Wha curtain 😘 (meaning Gordon, ed.). Looks like hello bobbles 😂 (meaning boppers, ed.).”

And Robert: “What the fuck have you done to your hair Gordon.”
