Currently, the coach of the Philadelphia Flyers John Tortorella didn’t necessarily like what he saw in the night’s NHL round. The commanding officer, who has seen almost everything in the top league, has previously been the bane of the opposite shore, when tricks familiar from yard games have been performed in matches.
Now in the same evening, exceptionally, two air cranes were seen. In both cases, the author was a player born in the 21st century.
First, the pack exploded in the game between St. Louis and Chicago. The most followed NHL rookie of the year Conor Bedard surprised the goalkeeper by Jordan Binnington in the fourth minute of the game by driving the puck from behind the goal into the upper corner. Even the Blues’ Home Crowd admitted it was a special goal.
The word about Bedard’s circus goal seems to have spread all the way to the west coast, because the 22-year-old who referred to the NHL’s gimmick king Trevor Zegras tried the same successfully.
Zegras quickly took the puck behind the Seattle Kraken’s goal and baked the ball into the top corner. The match was the first for Zegras since the beginning of November, so the return to the NHL ice was at least impressive.
Unfortunately for the young players, the wonderful aerial moves did not bring victory. Chicago lost to St. Louis 5–7 and Anaheim to Seattle 2–3.

Hakanpää fired
In the early evening, we saw a meeting between two “Finnish teams”, where the winning goal was scored by a blue and white player. Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros was able to keep the Dallas Stars at bay for 48 game minutes, but after that Dallas struck three times.
Craig Smith tied the game in the last minute. No extension was needed.
He completed the winning goal just 4 seconds before the final buzzer Jani Hakanpää with fiery heat. The goal was Pakkijärkäle’s second of the season. Esa Lindell and Roope Hintz provided Dallas’ opening touchdown.
Saros blocked 31 shots. The goalkeeper needed a captain to save one situation Roman Josin reflexes. Saros was out in the situation, but Josi blocked with his hand by Wyatt Johnston corporate.
