Ukrainian visa winner Jamala fled the war

The singer Jamala, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016, lived Susana Alimivna Jamaladinova has fled the Ukrainian war with his children.

Jamala doesn’t say exactly where he is, but the location update has been put in Kiev, his hometown.

– It’s been five days since the Russian attack. We left Kiev with the children. We spent almost 4 days in the car without food, we didn’t realize to take it with us in shock. We traveled about two kilometers in four hours, Jamala writes in Ukrainian.

She tells how millions of women and children have left their homes while their husbands remain defending the country.

Jamala has shared pictures from his getaway. In the pictures, her children are sleeping in the car. Some of the pictures show collapsed buildings and people sleeping in a subway station.

Jamala also appeals to the Russians. He hopes they will show that they are human, and believe in something more than the lies repeated on Russian television.

Jamala thanks those Russians who oppose the war.

He says he believes in the country’s president Volodymyr to Zelenskyand strong men and women in Ukraine.

– We will win! Ukraine should not be silenced! Ukraine can not be beat!
