Dutch national team uses Wolfsburg as a base during European Championships in Germany | Dutch football

The Dutch national team will stay in Wolfsburg during the European Championships in Germany next summer. Initially the plan was to book a hotel in Munich, but in view of the performance program a different choice was made.

The Dutch national team plays during the group stage of the European Championship in Hamburg, Leipzig and Berlin. That is why the centrally located Wolfsburg was chosen, where Oranje moves into the Ritz-Carlton hotel. The team of national coach Ronald Koeman will complete the training sessions at the VfL Wolfsburg complex.

The Dutch team starts the European Championship on Sunday, June 16, with a match against the winner of the play-offs. That will be Poland, Wales, Finland or Estonia. Five days later, on Friday, June 21, the Dutch team will play against France. The group stage will end on Monday, June 24, with a match against Austria.

Earlier this week, the KNVB announced that on March 22 is being practiced against Scotland. Four days later, the Dutch team will meet Germany in a friendly international match.

This is the position in the Dutch group for the European Championship qualification
