Chanel Wonderland at La Rinascente Duomo, the most glam destination

It would be reductive to call it a beauty pop up: if anything, it is a beauty destination. Until January 4, 2024, The Rinascente Duomo Milan hosts Chanel Wonderland, experiential beauté space where you can discover gifts (and more) from the double C maison.

The beautiful welcome is already from the outside: the facade and the iconic portico of the Milanese store in Corso Vittorio Emanuele are decorated with a cascade of lights and maxi bright decorations in the shape of iconic Chanel N.5 bottles. The kick-off event was held with hundreds of guests, in the presence of Martina Riva, councilor for Sport, Tourism and Youth Policies. Even the shop windows are dressed in a theme, with the most iconic pieces of the maison’s perfumery rediscovered animated Christmas decorations.

But the beauty is inside, on the first floor of the Flagship Store. The space has been transformed into a beauty lounge, divided into make-up, fragrance and skincare areas: here you can discover and choose the most loved references and transform them into a perfect gift, complete with personalization, tailor-made gift packages, boxes, ribbons, decorations and custom greeting cards made printed at the moment.

Air Parfum Discovery, for example, a blind fragrance diffusion technology, will guide you in choosing your favorite juice. It is possible to combine a 15-minute private olfactory consultation, with the guidance of beauty experts. Furthermore, at the Make Up Stations, you can book a free personalized make-up consultation to try out the sparkling Holiday 2023 make-up collection.

Last but not least, a very glam coffee break: at the Temporary Café Chanel Wonderland, you can order the most Instagrammable cappuccino of the moment, decorated with a camellia drawn on the foam.

Gingerbread Christmas by Jo Malone, the village with the scent of gingerbread

For Christmas 2023 Jo Malone has decided to set up the Gingerbread Christmas Villagea gingerbread-scented village where discover all the great classics of the London brand, treat yourself to a few moments and take part in tailor-made workshops, as create your own wreath or learn to decorate the gingerbread cookies. All under a large Christmas tree, among little houses and sweet decorations.

The Gingerbread Christmas Village is in Piazza XXV Aprile in Milan and will be open from Thursday to Sunday, from 10.30am to 7.30pm from 6 December to 6 January.

Christmas Pop Up, Diptyque’s new Christmas address

The new one is inaugurated in San Ambrogio, patron saint of Milan Diptyque spaceto mark in your December beauty diary. From December 7th you will be able to discover the olfactory best of the Parisian brand with its collection of great classics and the Holiday Collections to celebrate the holidays. Furthermore, they will be experts are available, including olfactory decorators, who will advise on choosing the perfect gift to give or to be given. Diptyque’s Christmas Pop Up opens on December 7th and remains open for the entire duration of the holidays, in via Manzoni 25, from 10.30am to 7.30pm.

“Let your light shine”, Sephora’s interactive Christmas tree

“Let your light shine” is the slogan chosen by Sephora this Christmas that from 6 December will illuminate Piazza della Scala in Milan with its interactive tree. Reinterpreting the typical Sephora codes, the tree is composed of 98 gift packages that create a play of lights and are 10 meters high.

Furthermore, every day from 4pm to 8pm you can interact with the tree itself: by pressing a button you can watch a personalized light show. Don Christmas Eve on December 7th, you will have the chance to win a gift box with a selection of the most popular products distributed by the French giant.

Glitter in Gold, the Zara Hair line designed by Guido Palau

It will officially be released in 2024 but on the occasion of the Christmas holidays we already have a small preview. Zara Hair is the new line of hair products which will become part of Zara Beauty and is created by Guido Palau, renowned hair stylist, creative director and long-time collaborator of the Spanish brand.

Glitter in Gold, available online from November 30th, is a mini collection in the name of gold and includes two styling products and two accessories : «This is make-up for your hair. Presented together with Kaia Gerber, the mini collection includes the Gold Gel, a soft white-gold cream that reflexively gives light to the hair: «I was inspired by the way the light hits the hair and the shimmer that reflects on it. The gel emphasizes the shine of the hair and can be made intense by adding more and more product. I like to put it on my finger or palm and run it through my hair.” The Gold Glitter Spray is a luminous touch to spray all over the body.

Plant for Life, Yves Rocher’s gift to the Earth

A real gift to the Earth. On the occasion of National Tree Day which was held last November 21st, Yves Rocher continued Plant for Life, a planting project which links the Breton brand to our country. The idea, born in 2007, has the objective of regenerate the soil, slow down desertification and reconnect man and nature.

Yves Rocher has planted so far 120 million trees worldwide and aims to reach 135 million by 2025. In particular, in Italy from November 2022 to April 2023 not only did the brand plant 12,400 trees but above all it developed, together with some farmers, a drip irrigation system to combat summer drought.
