Hüseyin Aytekin, Board Member and Press Spokesperson of MKE Ankaragücü, one of the Trendyol Super League teams, announced that Faruk Koca, the president of the yellow-dark blue club, is not a member of the Galatasaray Club congress.
Responding to the allegations in his statement, Aytekin said, “Our club president, Mr. Faruk Koca, does not have a congress membership in Galatasaray Club.” he said.
Stating that the transfer of Olimpiu Morutan, whom they added to their squad from Galatasaray, is constantly brought to the agenda, Aytekin said:
“MKE Ankaragücü Club is one of the rare clubs of our league that does not have any previous SSI and tax debts to the state and is able to pay salaries and bonuses to its players on time. Although we are not obliged to do so, and although we have repeatedly made statements regarding the details of the transfer at the level of the club president, just to enlighten the public in a transparent manner, the Morutan transfer has been continuing. “We regret that it has been brought to the agenda. As the 113-year-old İmalat-ı Harbiye, we will not take part in polemics or showdowns between some clubs or individuals.”
