Rob Kemps’ new in-laws do not exactly have a wrinkle-free image. His new parents-in-law in particular are quite fanatical; At one point they started unashamedly insulting Yvonne Coldeweijer. His sweetheart Stephanie Klaver also has two semi-famous sisters: Melodie and Kimberley.

‘Be kind to Rob!’

Kimblerley received a call from Nieuwe Revu to ask for her opinion about Rob. Actually, she doesn’t feel like it at all. “I’m out to dinner at the moment, what can I do for you?” she begins.

But then, remarkably enough, she still takes her time. In fact, at one point she even urges the journalist on duty to keep everything positive about Rob. “I hope you are kind to him a little. (…) Be kind to Rob. Let’s spread more love in the world.”

Men’s packer

The whole family is a bit stupid, Yvonne responds in her podcast The Juice Show. “Melody is an actress. That’s the most normal, I think. And then you have Kimberley. It is, yes, what does it actually do? No dog knows that. But she did take the man away from her best friend. (…) And the third is background dancer Stephanie. And she is with Rob Kemps.”

And so it is Kimberley who speaks in Nieuwe Revu. “Yes, the man-packer.”

Co-host Mark Koster: “And Kimberley says: ‘You should be nicer to him.’ But open the conversation as follows: ‘How can I help you with?’ When I told you this…”

An opening sentence like that really makes Yvonne very nervous. “We both flew into the curtains.”

Mark: “It’s actually strange that we… Who is this woman? Why does that make us angry? That is also very strange, that says something about us.”

Yvonne: “’What can I help you with?’ That is so snob.”

Mark: “’I’m just eating.’ They are just too busy of course. They just pick up the phone. Oh man. ‘How can I help you?'”

“She should be happy!”

In reality, Kimberley is thrilled that someone from the media is calling her, according to Yvonne. “She’s lucky to get a call! That girl. It is never in the media. She’s happy to answer. She would like to be called that girl. That’s the funny thing about it, of course. ‘How can I help you?’ Girl.”

Mark: “It has a kind of… That’s called media interest. That is it. You know you don’t matter. But by saying: ‘What can I help you with?’, then you are kind of higher than that journalist.”

Yvonne concludes: “But you are a nobody and you are lucky to be called!”
