We said that the longer we can extend the time, the better the match will become. Galatasaray is tired. We are the closest witnesses, it is not easy. Travel tires the players. We went out to the field with this in mind. We did not allow Galatasaray to play by accepting the game in our own zone, not giving the opportunity to their talented players, not allowing them to play with the ball in our zone, and shutting down the side organizations with man to man. My players did everything technically and tactically. We cannot always do this. I was very upset in the Pendik match last week. We couldn’t do anything we said. The main factor of this game is the players. Our job is to tell and show. If they believe and want it, you win the matches. We won with the players’ desire and belief. They implemented our tactics well. We found clearer positions in the second half of the match.
I founded this team. I say this with pride. There will be wins and losses during the season. Apart from everything else, we gain many different things. We are a team that came from nothing. It was done at very affordable costs. We did very respectable work in the first 8 weeks. We lost in the next 3 weeks. These were work accidents. It was mental fatigue.
