Seattle Kraken’s Swedish defender Adam Larsson hit his compatriot in the face with a bat when only a couple of minutes had passed in the match. Nyquist fell to his knees on the ice.
Later, TV footage showed Nyquist picking up his teeth from the ice.

Larsson was whistled for a 2+2 minute penalty for a high stick.
Nyquist, on the other hand, was able to continue the match despite the loose teeth. The Swedish striker clocked 14 minutes and 43 seconds.
Kraken won the match 4–2.
