One low pressure area after another flows with an active jet stream towards Western Europe. The associated precipitation fronts also move to the Alps and provide a lot of precipitation there. Until now, the snow line was often above 2000 m, but it may also snow at low altitude in the coming days. November is already off to a good start for the winter sports areas, which welcome the snow with open arms and slowly start preparing the slopes.
