The fire that broke out earlier this evening in the Flamingo Casino on the Noorderkade in Alkmaar is out. No one was hurt.
The fire was reported around a quarter past ten. A spokesperson for the security region said that the casino and cinema, which are also located in that building, were evacuated quickly after the report. The fire was probably caused by a fan on the roof, which is currently being investigated further.
Guests who have had to leave the building quickly and have left behind personal items are now allowed to remove them from the building under supervision.
