FC Bayern should be warned: several top clubs are already positioning themselves to work on a mega transfer for Jamal Musiala. Now another European heavyweight is set to get involved.
More and more clubs are exploring the possibility of signing Jamal Musiala from FC Bayern. Paris Saint-Germain is now also working on a deal, transfer reporter Ekrem Konur reports on the short message service X.
In addition to PSG, Real Madrid and the two Premier League representatives Manchester City and Liverpool FC are also considering a transfer, according to Konur. The quartet is not said to be considering a change for the coming season. The transfer expert claims that the first concrete offers could arrive at FC Bayern as the winter transfer window approaches.
As “Sport Bild” recently reported, Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool FC in particular are said to be vying for Musiala’s favor. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea FC is also looking very closely.
No talks between FC Bayern and Musiala
However, it is highly doubtful that FC Bayern will be willing to give up Jamal Musiala even in the event of a high offer. The 20-year-old has been playing an important role for the German record champions for years now and should ideally shape an era.
Musiala is one of the most valuable players in the FC Bayern squad. The Spanish portal “El Nacional” recently reported that a whopping 137 million euros would have to be put on the table in order to shake the Munich team. His contract is dated until 2026; the working paper was last extended in March 2021.
According to “Sport Bild”, talks between both sides are initially “suspended for the next few months”. According to “TZ”, however, the German record champions remain the “first point of contact” for the German national player.
