Manter International from Emmen has been voted Drenthe Company of the Year. This was announced tonight during the ceremony in De Nieuwe Kolk in Assen. The prize was presented by the chairman of the Entrepreneurship Award and last year’s winner, InterStage from Meppel.
Manter International competed against Brink Industrial from Hoogeveen and Proxcys from Emmen.
The winning company develops and manufactures weighing and packaging machines for potatoes, vegetables, fruit and other products, especially in the food industry.
Brink Industrial is a metalworking company that does product development and engineering through to production and finishing. The company has been around since 1903 and specializes in processing all kinds of metals.
Proxcys technology has been working on innovations in the pharmaceutical and food industry since its inception. They develop separation equipment and accessories for producing medication from blood plasma protein, recombinant protein or antibodies. Such as medication for lung diseases, anti-cancer drugs, human immunoglobulin, insulin and vaccines.
