Osnabrück must have made him an economically interesting offer to terminate the contract.
He can move to all leagues in which there is an open transfer window or which are not subject to FIFA regulations regarding transfer windows. In the past, the window in Australia closed in mid-October, for example, but I haven’t checked when that happened this season.
