The volleyball players from Allianz MTV Stuttgart have secured their first title of the season.
The champions won the duel for the Supercup against cup winners SSC Palmberg Schwerin 3-1 (27:25, 21:25, 25:17, 25:21) in the town hall in Rostock, which was sold out with around 4,600 spectators.
For the Swabians it was the second triumph in this competition, which has been held since 2016, and the first success in the third comparison with the Mecklenburg women.
In the first set, both teams had the chance to take the lead before MTV took advantage of its second opportunity. After the SSC managed to equalize the set, Stuttgart was able to advance again in the third round thanks to a strong final phase.
In the decisive fourth set, the champion finally made everything clear with the third match point.
