No trains run between Assen and Groningen. This is because a truck crashed into the viaduct at the railway bridge between Marsdijk and Loon.
A tow truck is working to pull the truck free from under the viaduct. The railway bridge is then inspected.
The driver was not injured. The NS expects that the closure will last at least until 11:30 p.m.
