During the press conference on easing the corona measures on Tuesday 15 February, the cabinet announced that new relaxations will come into effect from 25 February. These changes have been worked out by RIVM and subsequently translated into the childcare and corona protocol by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment and the sector parties.

The protocol has been significantly thinned out and has a new layout. The protocol itself indicates in which places the protocol has been changed, so there is no longer a version with yellow shading.

The main change in this version:

  • The 1,5 meter measure will be canceled† as well as walking routes and the like. Although the measure will expire, it will remain advice to give each other space.

Parents
Parents are welcome again in the locations and in the group. However, it is up to the organizations how they implement this and how they make agreements about this with the parents. An organization can therefore also decide differently.

Pregnant
The advice for pregnant employees (28 weeks and beyond) continues to apply. This still means that it is advised to organize other suitable activities for pregnant employees.

Taxi transport
The mask obligation remains in force in public transport, this also applies to picking up and bringing to childcare and school locations via taxi.
