FC Bayern with an offer of millions for teenagers?

Did FC Bayern Munich offer more than 35 million euros for a young Brazilian footballer? This is what a South American sports journalist reports. Chelsea FC should also compete for the top talent.

In the middle of the hot phase of the Copa Libertadores, the rumor mill in South American football is heating up.

In the semi-final second leg between Palmeiras and Boca Juniors, which Boca won 4-2 on penalties on Friday, talent scouts from five football clubs are said to have focused on Palmeiras youngster Luis Guilherme.

The 17-year-old midfielder only played for twelve minutes, as in the first leg, but is still hotly traded. The Brazil U17 international is considered the club from Sao Paolo’s next big talent after Endrick, who will move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2024.

FC Bayern is said to have offered 35 million plus bonuses for teenagers

Top European clubs have long been keeping an eye on Luis Guilherme – especially FC Bayern Munich and FC Chelsea. This was reported by Brazilian sports journalist Jorge Nicola.

Both the German record champions and Chelsea are said to have offered Palmeiras a transfer fee of 35 million euros plus possible bonus payments. Both clubs apparently wanted to avoid a big bidding war for Luis Guilherme early on, said Nicola.

But nothing comes of this project. Palmeiras rejected the first offers from Munich and London, Nicola reported. Palmeiras knows about the great interest in the left-footed player and is therefore speculating on the highest possible transfer fee, the sports reporter explained.

It was not known whether Bayern and Chelsea wanted to improve their offers. In his first year in Palmeiras’ first team, Luis Guilherme made 23 competitive appearances and provided one assist. In his fourth appearance in Brazil’s top division, the top talent was allowed to start right from the start.
