The Ajax – AZ poster did not receive much attention this Sunday during the press conference at the training complex in Wijdewormer. AZ coach Pascal Jansen received the most questions about the escalations the day before, but the match against Ajax is of course a real North Holland cracker. “We are going there with a lot of self-confidence.”
AZ coach Pascal Jansen about the lack of AZ fans in Amsterdam – NH News
“That is super annoying,” Pascal Jansen clearly states about halving the outfield in Amsterdam. The fanatical Alkmaar supporters have already announced that they will boycott the match, because they are very disappointed with these measures in the Ajax stadium. “We need all the support and a full field always helps.”

With Ajax, AZ will meet a team that has been performing dramatically all season. There is chaos on the field, but also outside the lines. “They have to deal with that,” Jansen is clear. The Alkmaar team’s coach wanted to reveal almost nothing about his analysis of the Amsterdam team. “The only thing I want to say about that is that the same names are increasingly being written down on paper.”
Bazoer
Jansen has little to complain about the fitness of his selection. It seems like he can control anyone. Riechedly Bazoer is also making his return after a short injury period. The defender with an Ajax past suffered a minor hamstring injury against Heracles Almelo last week.
The Ajax – AZ match starts at 2:30 PM. NH Sport is present and follows the match and everything surrounding it closely.
