The US fashion and media group Authentic Brands Group LLC (ABG) presented the distribution partner for its recently acquired brands Quiksilver, Billabong, Roxy, RVCA, Honolua and Boardriders in North America on Wednesday evening. The group of companies secured the labels in the summer by taking over the sportswear group Boardriders.
As part of a long-term strategic partnership, the US textile group Liberated Brands will in future operate the stationary retail and online business of the six brands in the USA and Canada, ABG announced. In addition, as a licensing partner, Liberated will also take over the wholesale distribution of key product categories from Billabong, RVCA and Honolua in the two North American markets.
Both companies are thus expanding their existing collaboration. Liberated is already a licensee and sales partner for the Volcom and Spyder labels, which are part of ABG’s portfolio.
