Actor and rapper Nashawn Breedlove has died at the age of 46. His family member tells about it to TMZ.

A family member tells TMZ that Breedlove died in her sleep on Sunday at her home in New Jersey. Breedlove’s cause of death is unknown.

– It is with a heavy heart that I have to share that my beloved son Nashawn Breedlove is gone, his mother Patricia A. Breedlove confirm on Facebook.

Breedlove is best remembered for the film 8 Mile (2002), loosely based on the life of rapper Eminem. In the film, Breedlove played Lotto, who is defeated in a rap battle by Jimmy “B-Rabbit” Smith, played by Eminem.

Plasterer Mickey Factz remembers Breedlove as “one of the few rappers to beat Eminem”.

Before his role in 8 Mile, Breedlove had a rap career under the stage name Ox. He made a movie of one song starring Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg Me and my boss (2001) for the soundtrack.
