Like the German Football League, the German Football Association has strongly condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
In a joint statement, the two interim presidents, Hans-Joachim Watzke and Rainer Koch, also called for any support for Ukraine.
“The DFB strongly condemns Russia’s attack on Ukraine, which is obviously contrary to international law. The world must not stand idly by, Ukraine needs solidarity from all of us,” the statement said.
