Historical market, workshops and food

There are various stalls on the Market with items such as swords, skins, fantasy books, glassware, food, drinks and more. Both on the Markt and on Dobbe Island you can find Viking food, fudge, chimney bread, curry sausages, poffertjes and other historical dishes (also vegetarian) in various places.

There is also a book market on the Markt with mainly historical books. Our Zoetermeer writer Hilda Spruit is there with her exciting young adult books. There are also various workshops to follow, such as fabric making and sword fighting lessons. Or listen to a fascinating story from a historical storyteller.
