The rapper is receiving negative comments about his “Slime You Out” track. More information here.
Drake released the single “Slime You Out” with SZA. The track is a foretaste of his new record FOR ALL THE DOGS. But instead of increasing the anticipation, there is now criticism of the Canadian because of the song lyrics.
The reason for the anger is this song line: “You got my mind in a terrible place / Whipped and chained you like American slaves”. .
On social media, both Drake has been criticized for his choice of words and SZA for collaborating with him. One user writes: “No one in the studio told Drake that line was terrible??”
Neither Drake nor SZA have yet responded to comments of this nature. At the same time, Drake is still being criticized for using a picture of Halle Berry for the “Slime You Out” single cover, which she said she did not give him permission to do. More about that here.
The announced album FOR ALL THE DOGS, which was supposed to be released on September 22nd, has now been postponed by Drake to October 6th, otherwise he would not have had enough time for his current tour. His “It’s All A Blur” tour is currently taking him through North America. He will play his final show in Columbus, Ohio on October 9th.
