THEyou were, September 6, Pippa Middleton turned 40. And to celebrate this milestone birthday, Kate’s younger sister has decided to extend her stay in Italy by a few days. In fact, Philippa Charlotte Middleton flew in secret with her husband James Matthews to a magical location on Lake Como for the wedding of some friends. And she also stayed there to enjoy her parents’ party 40 years.
Pippa Middleton on Lake Como: friends’ wedding and birthday party
A few days ago they got married in the marvelous setting of Villa Balbiano influencer Annabelle Porter and financier Max Robinson. Pippa Middleton accepted the invitation of her newly wed friends, reaching Lake Como with her husband. The ceremony lasted three days, during which the younger sister of the current Princess of Wales and her husband stayed in one of the three suites of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo. The welcome party for guests from all over the world was also held right here: a party with a dress code Barbie.
Some videos posted by guests also show Pippa Middleton herself, with a pastel pink dress by British brand Phase Eightin perfect style Barbie, while dancing (wild!) on the dance floor. Eager to enjoy these Italian days as much as possible.
A dip in the water (and what style!)
The wedding attended by Pippa Middleton and James Matthews lasted for several days. And in fact, the ceremony was held the day after the welcome drink. The location chosen by the spouses was Villa Balbianoa place which – among other things – was also used for the filming of the 2021 film House of Gucci. Fireworks, music and lots of fun. All this happened on the wedding day, in a location that left everyone speechless.
Taking advantage of his trip to Italy, Kate’s younger sister decided to stay in the area to celebrate her 40th birthday. In fact, at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo she enjoyed it a delicious dinner at the restaurant and as well a swim in the lakeon the occasion of which he flaunted a pink suit which has already been around the web, thanks to some shots of Page Six.
As known, swimming is one of his greatest passions. And it was also a tool with which to keep fit after her pregnancies. With her husband Matthews she has in fact had three children: Arthur (born 2018), Grace (2021) and Rose (2022).
Pippa Middleton: Italy and style
This trip of hers dedicated to fun and relaxation was also the occasion for Kate Middleton’s sister (wife of Prince William, son and heir to the throne of King Charles III) to launch an important message. In addition to the pink and red outfits she wore on the days on Lake Como, Pippa Middleton also showed off a very particular bag. It is a rigid mother-of-pearl clutch bag signed by the designer Elizabeth Sutton.

The peculiarity of this limited edition bag (worth 400 pounds) lies in the print that reproduces waves and sand and that contains the writing: “Eden Rock”. A case? Absolutely not. Indeed, his father in law – entrepreneur David Matthews – he is currently under investigation by the French police for alleged crimes against minors. AND “Eden Rock” is the name of the hotel he owns in the Caribbean.
Presenting yourself with this bag at your friends’ wedding – knowing you won’t go unnoticed among the guests – Pippa Middleton has thus decided to show all her support for her father-in-law. Giving the image of a united family, ready to support each other in the most complex moments.
