A 46-year-old man from Boekel is imprisoned for abusing his daughter and his niece. This happened between the end of 2014 and April 2020. This became clear on Thursday before the court in Den Bosch during a first introductory session.
The 46-year-old Jan K. from Boekel has been detained for some time. His case is still under investigation. In addition to sexually abusing his daughter and his niece from a young age (under 12), he would also have approached several other girls via the internet.
How many there are and what exactly happened to them is not yet clear. The police are still investigating. At the moment, girls and their parents are being approached all over the country about what they have experienced with Jan K. In the preliminary indictment, the Public Prosecution Service talks about ‘deliberately enticing minors to commit or tolerate fornication’.
Child pornography
Jan K. is also accused of making child pornography. It is also not yet clear who can be seen in those images.
The suspect and his lawyer did not appear at the first hearing. However, the victims were well represented. Together with their lawyer, the two victims and their relatives attended this first hearing.
On November 24, the court will review the state of affairs again. Then it should be more clear whether Jan K. has made more victims. And whether these will also be added to the lawsuit. K. will in any case remain in jail until that hearing.
