Djokovic won 5-7, 7-6(4) and 7-6(4) against Alcarazwho was one step away from being crowned with the fifth Masters 1,000 of his career.
The Serb won the title number 95 of his career and took revenge after the loss suffered against Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final.
