Here are five tips for the mushroom forest.

1. Change the forest
Many are in pain that the mushroom forest is gaping at its emptiness. Change the forest, the same phenomenon is not necessarily the case in all forest types. In addition, different types of mushrooms grow in different forests, which means that only in the same type of forest, the haa flute does not produce as good a catch.
2. Identify the mushrooms
Only pick mushrooms you are sure to recognize. A mushroom course or studying mushroom books will help here. The appearance and color of the same mushroom can vary a lot, and some have poisonous-looking varieties. It is important to identify edible mushrooms for sure to avoid collecting poisonous mushrooms.
3. Choose good equipment
Mosquitoes, deer flies and woodpeckers bother the mushroom picker and the forest can be damp. Put on good rubber boots or waterproof shoes and equip yourself with a hooded or otherwise bug-proof jacket, for example a mesh jacket.
4. Use the basket
A breathable basket is also the only correct picking container for mushrooms. A mushroom knife is necessary so that you can pre-clean the mushrooms already in the forest and split the mushrooms for worms.
5. Mushroom at the right time
Mushrooms grow at different times of the year depending on the species and the climate. If you want to pick tatties, head to the forest already at the end of summer, but you won’t get funnel wafers in your basket until autumn.
