There are 170,844 positive tests for coronavirus recorded in Italy in the last 24 hours. On the same day a week ago there were 78,313, so the growth is 118.2%.
In the last 7 days (i.e. from 29 December to 4 January) there were 810,461 swab-confirmed cases, up 153.1% compared to the previous week (22-28 December).
The victims are 259 in one day, while a week ago there were 190 (+ 36.3% in 7 days). In the last 7 days there have been 1,102 deaths, an increase of 8.9% compared to the previous week.
