Tameze was born in Lille, France, on February 4, 1994. Raised in the youth sectors of some French clubs, including Lille and Nancy, with the latter he made his professional debut in the French Cup in 2013. He later wore the shirts of Valenciennes and Nice, with which he gained his first appearances in European cups. Arrived in Italy in January 2020, he made his Serie A debut with Atalanta before moving to Verona, where he played for the last three seasons.
