Ex-Bundesliga professional Ante Rebic could leave AC Milan after four years at the club – at least for the time being. According to the Turkish reporter Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, the 29-year-old Croatian has received an offer from Besiktas for a loan.

Rebic has a contract with Milan until 2025 and last season, like the previous one, failed to match the numbers of the first two years at the Rossoneri when he managed 16 and 20 goals. Last season, the national player once again oscillated between the bench and the starting XI, with 31 appearances in all competitions and three goals and two assists – and another minus in the market value update.

For Rebic, the market value went down from 10 million to 6 million euros, which would still make him one of the eight most valuable professionals in Besiktas’ squad. The attacker was devalued for the seventh time in a row since 2021, when he was still valued at 32 million euros. He reached his highest value of 40 million euros in the summer of 2019 – immediately before moving to Milan.

Rebic initially came on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt for a year before being signed for €6.7m. The right-footed player played a total of 123 times for the top Italian club, more than for any other player in his career. In 2022 he won the championship with Milan.
