The winner of Love Island was decided by the audience.
Love Island Finland program has come to an end.
The following made it to the final four in 2023: Isabella and Ilari, Elvira and Paulus, Niko and Josefina mixed Sonja and Samu.
Viewers could vote for their favorite couple in the Love Island app, and with the vote Elviira and Paulus were chosen as the winners.

Elviira and Paulus’ journey on the island of love started as friendship, but ended up with the two already dreaming of a relationship. An official commitment has not happened yet, but there are possibilities for a serious relationship.
– Yes, I still feel quite absurd about all of this and I don’t understand that we have really won, Paulus says in an interview with Iltalehti.
Elviira and Paulus say that they didn’t have time to sleep much after the final night, but the atmosphere is still very good. In the hotel room, there has been dancing and laughter and amazement at what has happened.
Paulus lives in Vantaa and Elviira lives in Tampere. However, the two are not afraid of a long-distance relationship, on the contrary. MTV
Elviira describes that she is relaxed and easy to be with Paulus.
– The other has given me energy to get by and it’s nice to spend time with the other, Elviira describes gently.
Neither of them could believe that a potential life partner could actually be found through a love reality show.
“You can’t give advice!”
Over the past few weeks, Elviira and Paulus have talked a lot about the future, but it has remained a mystery what issues might pose challenges outside the villa in Finland.
– I know that Elviira cannot be advised! He can get angry about that, Paulus laughs in unison with Elviira.

Elviira currently lives in Tampere and Paulus lives in Vantaa. A long-distance relationship doesn’t sound like a problem for the winners, quite the opposite.
– Maybe even a good thing at first. However, there is quite a bit of distance between them and I’m used to traveling. You can also do your own things at home and then spend quality time together, Elviira describes.
The winning couple received a prize pot of 25,000 euros for themselves. The two have not yet had time to think about what they would use their winnings for, but there is at least a date planned.
– We would like to go do different activities together, such as go karting or visit an amusement park. We have also talked about a trip abroad, but we will see according to the situation, they will decide together.
On the hills of happiness
Niko and Josefiina finished second in the program. Niko and Josefiina, who already got to know each other at the beginning of the production season, have discussed the state of their relationship a lot in front of television cameras, and they describe it in the same way to Iltalehti as well.
Although there was no victory, both are happy about the trip and especially about each other.
– We’ll see when we get to the outside world to test how it feels there. We then decide whether we will formalize this relationship or what we will do, Niko describes the state of the relationship.
Niko currently lives in Kuopio. However, he is currently planning a move to the capital region. Josefina lives in Helsinki. MTV
Josefiina and Niko are especially looking forward to seeing each other’s daily lives and their loved ones and family face to face.
Although both Niko and Josefiina produce content for social media, they have not known each other before. The two haven’t yet had time to think about how publicly they plan to share the status of their potential relationship on their social media channels.
Unknown Miss
Samu and Sonja, who finished third, already talked during the program about the fact that the formalization of the relationship into a dating relationship could happen already after a month of dating. However, both of them state that they hope to spend time together in the outside world, so that they can get to know each other even better.
– We have a really good situation at the moment. Let’s take it easy and see how this goes. Nothing scares us in the outside world, because we have had time to talk through everything, Sonja says.
Sonja reveals that she and Samu have quite similar taste in music. They plan to listen to music together in the outside world soon. MTV
Sonja Länsivuori is the second hereditary princess of the 2021 Miss Finland competition. Sonja’s face was not familiar to Samu, and the man says that he was a little nervous about this information.
– There was no smell! I haven’t been terribly active in following such competitions, but maybe now I will follow through Sonja. Maybe it was a little stressful at first, but now it’s really great! Samu reveals.
The two most likely intend to share more information about the ups and downs of their relationship on social media in the future as well.
– We haven’t talked about it together, but I think we can update something about the relationship on social media, Sonja says.
– I make a podcast related to human relationships, so there will definitely be a public talk about the state of our relationship. You can hear the latest twists and turns on the podcast, Samu laughs.
“A little infatuated”
Ilar and Isabella’s time together on the island of love has been significantly shorter than others. The two say that they continue dating, at least to some extent, also in the outside world.
– We have planned joint tennis dates and we will definitely spend time together, they say to Iltalehti.
As a challenge for getting to know each other outside the villa, the duo names scheduling problems.
Isabella’s journey on the island of love started already on the first day of the program and she quickly grew closer Lowest with. However, Ali had to leave the program due to a criminal conviction received in 2018.
Isabella and Ilar are eight years apart in age. However, they see no problem with this. MTV
Isabella paired up with, among others, Joonas and Miro, but Ilari ended up as the final couple.
Isabella tells Iltalehti that she has a budding crush on Ilar.
– I can say that I’m a little infatuated. Of course, when you spend time with someone, this can happen, Isabella reveals.
– We’ll have fun in each other’s company, we’ll see what happens, Ilari continues.
In each other, the duo drew attention especially to their attitude to life, cheerfulness and shared sense of humor.
