Bundesliga club FC Augsburg celebrated their second win in the third preparatory game for the coming season. Coach Enrico Maassen’s team defeated the Austrian third division team FC Kufstein in Schladming 9-0 (3-0).
Frederik Winther (5th), Sven Michel (23rd), Ruben Vargas (28th), Maurice Malone (50th, 57th), Mert Kömür (61st) and Irvin Cardona (65th, 80th, 89th) scored the goals for the Swabians.
At the beginning of the preparation Augsburg had the upper hand in the city duel with Türkspor (6:0), the test against Besiktas was stopped at 1:1 because of too much pyrotechnics from the Turkish fans.
There were also problems on Tuesday, but not with the spectators. A violent storm swept through Schladming, where the FCA stayed until July 23, with trees lying across.
