New contract for Rashford at Manchester United

Left winger Marcus Rashford has signed a new contract with Manchester United that runs until 2028. The homegrown talent of the “Red Devils” has been part of the professional squad since 2016 and since then has contributed 191 goals in 359 competitive games.

The 25-year-old is currently the most valuable professional in coach Erik ten Hag’s squad. In the course of the past season, he was able to increase his market value, which had meanwhile fallen to 55 million euros, back to 80 million euros, his previous high dated from 2021 and was 85 million euros. With United he won the Europa League in 2017, won the FA Cup once and the League Cup twice.

“I came to Manchester United as a seven-year-old boy with a dream. The same passion, pride and determination to succeed drives me every time I have the honor of wearing the shirt,” said the 53-time England international of his renewal, adding: “I’ve played at this incredible Club has already gained some experience but there is still much more to be achieved and I remain relentlessly determined to win more trophies in the years to come.”
