A car was destroyed by fire on the Swimming Pool Road in Geldrop on Monday night. This happened after an explosion occurred at the front door of a villa shortly before two o’clock. The car was parked in the driveway of the villa.
According to a 112 correspondent, there were four residents, including two children, in the house. They were asleep when the explosion happened. The residents were able to leave the house in time.
What exactly happened is still unclear. Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the explosion.
