FC Bayern apparently sets price tag for Leon Goretzka

Leon Goretzka has to fight for his place in the starting XI at Bayern Munich. Even a farewell does not seem out of the question this summer. The German record champions have apparently set a price tag for the national player internally.

According to “Sky”, FC Bayern would give Goretzka “if there is a serious offer of 40 to 50 million euros on the table”.

According to the TV channel, the central midfielder is still in Manchester United’s sights. In addition, “two to three other top clubs” should monitor the situation very closely. “Sky” does not name specific names in this context.

Goretzka has to prove himself at Bayern

Goretzka is currently in a difficult position at FC Bayern under head coach Thomas Tuchel. The 28-year-old has to duel with Konrad Laimer with a new signing for the place next to Joshua Kimmich. In addition, Ryan Gravenberch insists on minutes.

As “Sky” and “kicker” report, Goretzka would like to stay in Munich. According to the specialist magazine, the DFB star has advocates in the club.

Goretzka himself had already made it clear to “Sport1” in June as part of the international three-pack: “I have no other plans than staying at Bayern! We have big plans for next year, Jo (Kimmich) has that after the Ukraine game aptly said.”

FC Bayern: Tuchel does not want to commit himself

During the FC Bayern training camp at Tegernsee, coach Tuchel did not want to decide whether Goretzka would still be in the Munich squad in September.

“I wouldn’t confirm that for any player, the transfer time is far too early for that and far too many things are happening,” said the 49-year-old.

The change period runs until September 1st. Goretzka still has a contract with FC Bayern until 2026. The last word does not seem to have been spoken on the exciting transfer question.
