VfL Bochum wins first test

Bundesliga club VfL Bochum has won its first preparatory game for the new season. The Westphalians prevailed in nearby Gevelsberg with 9:2 (2:2) against the Oberliga club Kickers Emden.

Simon Zoller (11th) and Moritz Broschinski (20th) scored for VfL in the Stefansbachtal stadium before the break. After the change of sides, Tim Oermann (49′), Philipp Hofmann (50’/58′), Kevin Stöger (56′, penalty kick), Gerrit Holtmann (80′), Jordi Osei-Tutu (82′) and Christopher Antwi-Adjei made it (84.) the befitting success perfectly.

The newcomers Felix Passlack, Lukas Daschner and Noah Loosli celebrated their debut. Coach Thomas Letsch used two different starting formations in both halves.
