After the National Commission Doctors-Health Funds, the Insurance Committee of the RIZIV has now also approved the new financing model for general practitioners (the so-called ‘New Deal’). The Belgian Association of Medical Syndicates (BVAS) reports this today in a press release. The care providers, care institutions and health insurance funds are represented in the Insurance Committee.
