According to media reports, Benjamin Pavard is toying with the idea of saying goodbye to Munich, just like Hernández. According to “kicker”, a change of the 27-year-old is probably not set in stone, but should instead depend on the plans of head coach Thomas Tuchel.
Upamecano a candidate for sale by FC Bayern?
The specialist magazine does not rule out that Pavard will have to go into his last year of contract at Bayern and in this case names Dayot Upamecano as a potential sales candidate.
The 24-year-old switched from Bundesliga competitor RB Leipzig to Säbener Straße in 2021 for around 42.5 million euros. Although Upamecano has all the qualities that a good central defender needs, the Frenchman repeatedly made big mistakes in his first two years on the Isar.
FC Bayern: Upamecano changes consulting agency
Most recently Upamecano changed the consulting agency. In this context, “Sport1” reported that the defender can imagine saying goodbye to FC Bayern – but probably only in the summer of 2024.
According to the “kicker”, Upamecano was “never really happy” in Munich. The French international still has a contract with FC Bayern until 2026.
The squad planners on Säbener Straße are therefore faced with groundbreaking decisions this summer. In the end, a lot will also depend on the ideas of head coach Tuchel, who has been on the sidelines in Munich since the end of March.
