In 2013 I visit our daughter and our newborn granddaughter with my husband. We are on vacation on the German island of Rügen and my tall husband walks with his arm around my tall daughter’s shoulders. As a proud grandmother, I walk behind them with our granddaughter in the pram. My husband orders two coffees on a terrace. “And a green tea for my wife.” A little later, the waiter puts the green tea in front of my daughter. I was just an Asian female taking care of the baby.
