Speeding tickets can be a problem for drivers, but they are designed to ensure our safety. The General direction of traffic try different ways to reduce road accidents and the main problem is speed limits.
The debate on increasing speed limits on different roads has recently arisen in our country. Even so, there is some exception that allows you to exceed the speed limits. The first examples that come to mind are the state bodies and health serviceswhich can obviously skip these numbers.
However, the road code and traffic regulations still have some gap where you can press the accelerator without receiving a penalty. between the loopholes, there is a sign that allows you to increase the speed on the highway up to 150 kilometers per hour.
This signal is known V12, a sign that is placed in our car and that allows us to increase the speed up to 150 kilometers per hour. The reason is because it is a warning for the rest of the cars, Well, the vehicle that carries it is carrying out special tests or research trials.

The new fines
The new law introduces new fines and stiffens other sanctions. Of course, the scale of infractions remains the same: minor ones are punishable by a fine of up to 100 euros; serious ones, with a fine of 200 euros, and very serious ones, with a fine of 500 euros.
VERY SERIOUS (fine of 500 euros)
- Using unauthorized intercom devices in exams to obtain or recover a driver’s license.
- Throwing objects onto the road that could cause fires or accidents
- Failure to comply with the rules on assistance on public roads and on the use of anti-start breathalyzers.
SERIOUS (200 euros)
- Stopping or parking in bike lanes or lanes
- Carry radar or cinemometer detection mechanisms in the vehicle. In other words, it is enough to simply have them.
- Driving with the license suspended as a precautionary measure
- That motorists or cyclists use the mobile phone holding it with one hand or adjusting it between the head and the helmet.
MINOR INFRINGEMENTS (up to a 100 euro fine)
- Failure to comply with the obligation to be “at all times” in a position to control the vehicle.
- That cyclists fail to comply with road safety regulations that are not serious or very serious.
the three documents
There are a series of documents that you must carry in the vehicle, and none of them is the insurance policy or the payment receipt, which since 2008 are no longer among those required by the DGT for the driver. Specifically, there are three: the circulation and driving license and the ITV card.
Only one of these three will not require you to physically carry it. According to the new law, the driver’s license can be loaded onto your mobile through the miDGT app.
