“Relatively quiet” night in France, Macron in talks with mayors affected municipalities tomorrow

There were still some disturbances in a number of French cities on Sunday evening, but in general the night went quieter and there were a lot fewer arrests than in recent days. Shortly before midnight, the French police announced that they had arrested 49 people. Around a quarter past two in the night from Sunday to Monday, that number had risen to 78, according to the French channel ‘BFMTV’.
