The celebrities can’t stop talking about themselves and that’s why we’re already being informed about Renze Klamer’s breakfast preferences. Is it a bowl of cottage cheese with some muesli? A boiled egg with some avocado and a cracker? Or a wholemeal sandwich with cheese? No, a peanut butter sprinkles sandwich!

Peanut butter sprinkles

Renze makes his outpouring in an interview with the AD. “In terms of drinks, I have a guilty pleasure: every morning I have breakfast with a multi-seed sandwich with butter, peanut butter and chocolate sprinkles. Plus a glass of milk. The flavor combination makes me very happy.”

Such a breakfast sounds a bit childish. Where exactly does that come from? “My mother was lovingly unburdening, she just never taught me how to cook. I taught myself that, actually only in corona time, via YouTube.”

Sweet and creamy

A sandwich with the relatively simple combination of peanut butter and sprinkles is mainly associated with the simplicity and innocence of childhood. Many people develop a broader taste palette as they get older and prefer other flavor combinations, which are usually less sweet.

After all, much more than children, adults are concerned with a balanced diet full of different nutrients. Peanut butter and sprinkles are tasty, but they also contain a fair amount of calories and sugar.

Hummus

On to lunch. What does Renze eat then? A pancake with powdered sugar? A bowl of applesauce? Or a LiGA Milkbreak? No, then he pulls out his recipes from YouTube…

Renze: “I keep my lunch healthy, with cottage cheese and fruit, grilled vegetables and hummus. Still, I can’t leave the sandwich maker at the editorial office.”

AD interview
