Lto discover the clandestine history between a teacher and her student – Macarena and Ivanthe protagonists of Everyone lies – turns into tragedy. There second installment of the Spanish series airs tonight at 21.20 on Rai 2. At the center of the episodes 3 and 4the previous days Ivan’s death and the resulting consequences.
Everyone liesthe plot of the second episode
After the discovery of Iván’s body, the third episode opens with the face to face between Macarena (Irene Arcos) and Néstor (Leonardo Sbaraglia). Macarena found Iván’s phone in her husband’s car and is convinced he is involved with her death. The clues would lead to his awarenessbut the plot of the series – well intertwined and full of twists – leads the viewer to have only one certainty: everyone lies.
Who for one reason, who for another, any character could be guilty. Best of all, the quiet town of Belmonte is a quiet place only on the surface. Under the patina hides plots, mysteries, secrets, with which everyone has to deal. And even in this case, the answers do not come immediately.
The narration follows the scheme of the double narrative plan. The present intertwines with the past to create suspense and give roundness to the story. It takes a step back in time. Iván shows up at Macarena’s house and a heated argument ensueswhich Iván’s mother Ana (Natalia Vebreke) attends. The clandestine relationship has altered the balance between the various families and brought out frictions in the relationship between Ana and Diego (Ernesto Alterio). She confesses that she is no longer in love and that she wants to separate.

In the meantime it turns out that to publish the intimate video of Macarena and Iván was Lucía (Berta Castañé), girlfriend of Iván and niece of Macarena. In the present, Macarena wakes up in the garage at home and, when she sees her husband again, she is sure he killed Iván and that he wants to kill her too. So she runs away, asks Yolanda (Eva Santolaria) for help and asks her to accompany her to the police station. It’s not an easy time for Yolanda either. She discovers that her husband hasn’t worked for months and that she has squandered all their savings on drugs and a bad investment. In the past, Macarena suspects she is pregnant.
Everyone liesfourth episode: who killed Iván?
In the fourth episode, he goes for the test on Maite’s (Miren Ibarguren) boat and, while waiting for the result, Iván arrives. He locks it in the hold and leaves the port. Once out at sea, they argue and Iván falls into the sea, but is saved and reaches the shore. She says it was Macarena who threw him in the water, but she claims it was him.

After that it turns out that their relationship had been going on for three years. Furthermore, Macarena has a confrontation with her daughter Natalia (Carmen Arrufat)angry because, according to her, the mother destroyed the family. He accuses her of abandoning them to be with Iván. When the daughter takes leave, she goes to the kitchen and find a box of knives.
It is the box that contains the object of the crime. In the first episode, he found again a bloodstained knife hidden in Iván’s bag. Back home, she discovered it was the knife missing from the package. Someone had stolen it, presumably to kill the boy. She shocked, she had washed it to eliminate traces of her, but it is likely that the solution to the mystery revolves around the fingerprints on the blade.
Back to the present and the plot of Everyone lies thickens. Macarena is in the police station. Natalia arrives and demands that I tell her the truth once and for all. Her mother is frightened and suggests her daughter to get away from her father immediately, since she had Iván’s cell phone. Natalia, in turn, tells a new version of the factsshuffle the cards. Macarena is arrested because all clues lead to her. Who killed Ivan?
