An injured Swedish rider on Sunday Peder Fredricson has gotten home from the hospital. Confirmed the matter for Aftonbladet Spokesperson for the Swedish Equestrian Association Matilda Hjertstrand.
Fredricson spent two nights in Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm. According to Fredricson’s wife, the rider suffered a neck injury in the crash, for which he had to take a lot of painkillers.
51-year-old Fredricson fell from his horse while warming up for the Global Champions Tour race in Stockholm. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Fredricson won Olympic gold in Tokyo in the show jumping team competition. In addition, he has three Olympic silver medals, two of which are personal.
